The tree surveyor can appoint a drilling resistance measuring instrument in order to make a tree survey: Thereby, a fine needle is pressed into the wood and the resistance that the wood counters during the intrusion is measured. So, the tree surveyor obtains a measurement sheet that admits conclusions on the quality of wood and therewith on areas with increased risk of breakage in the wood.
