For a tree survey, the tree surveyor may spud a tree at justified suspicious facts. The obtained drill core already affords the tree surveyor lots of tokens as e.g. vibration behaviour, smell, colour, consistance. Next, the tree surveyor can break the drill core in standardized checking devices (e.g. fractometer) under audited conditions for the purpose of measurement.
